The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination for the year 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 4000 vacancies for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Postal Assistant (PA) across various government departments and ministries in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The age limit for General category candidates is 18 to 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD. All age calculations are as of the closing date of application.
