The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professors across various disciplines in state government colleges and universities. A total of 1253 vacancies are available for qualified candidates. The recruitment aims to fill teaching positions in subjects such as Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Geography, Home Science, Physical Education, Statistics, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master's degree (M.Sc. or M.S.) in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or an accredited test. Those with a Ph.D. degree are exempted from the NET requirement. The age limit is 21 to 40 years; relaxations for reserved categories will be as per government norms.

Salary

The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400 per month (Level 10 of the pay matrix).
