The Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG), an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Post Details
The institute is inviting applications for1 Junior Research Fellowposition. The selected candidate will work on research projects related to Himalayan geology, geophysics, or related areas.
Qualification
Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Geology, Applied Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or any other allied subject from a recognized university. Candidates with a strong academic record and research experience will be preferred.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per government norms for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Salary
The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000 plus applicable HRA as per institute norms.
Selection Process
