National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) has announced a temporary engagement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a sponsored project. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in relevant disciplines (MSc/MS) and a valid GATE or NET score are eligible to apply. The position offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 42,000 and is co-terminus with the project duration.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:MSc or MS in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, or a closely related discipline, with a valid GATE/NET score.
Age Limit:Maximum 28 years (age relaxation as per government rules).
Salary / Stipend
Selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 42,000 per month.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of candidates based on GATE/NET score and academic performance.
- Personal interview (may be conducted online).
