The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the field of Physics. This is a prestigious opportunity for young researchers to work at one of India's premier research institutes located in Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics or an allied discipline. Additionally, they must have qualified in UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, JEST, or any other national-level Ph.D. entrance examination recognized by TIFR. The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the last date of application.

Salary and Tenure

The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000. The appointment is initially for one year, temporary, and extendable based on performance and project requirements.
