The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2023 session. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their result and download the score card from the official NTA website.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Master's degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). For JRF, the maximum age is 31 years with relaxation as per government rules.

UGC NET is the National Eligibility Test conducted by NTA to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
Candidates can check their result on the official NTA website by entering their application number and date of birth.
Qualifying marks vary by category. For General category, usually 40% for Paper 1 and 40% for Paper 2, with aggregate of 40%. For reserved categories, relaxation may apply.
The score card is available along with the result on 25 July 2023. Candidates can download it from the official website.
For JRF, maximum age is 31 years with relaxation for reserved categories. For Assistant Professor eligibility, there is no age limit.
JRF is valid for a maximum of 5 years for pursuing research in the chosen subject.
