National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) - Voter ID Registration

Election Commission of India provides online facility for new voter ID registration, correction in existing voter ID, and checking electoral roll through NVSP portal. All Indian citizens aged 18 years and above can apply.

Application Fee

No application fee is required for voter ID registration or correction.

• Place of Birth: India
• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• No upper age limit

How to Apply for New Voter ID

1. Visit the official NVSP website (nvsp.in).
2. Click on 'New Voter ID Registration' and enter your mobile number.
3. Verify with OTP and fill in your personal details.
4. Upload photograph and required documents.
5. Submit the form and take a printout. Submit the form to the concerned Election Commission office.

Online Correction in Voter ID

If you have an existing Voter ID and need correction, visit the NVSP correction portal, enter your mobile number, get OTP, and make necessary changes.

Check Electoral Roll

To check if your name is in the voter list, use the 'Know Your Name in Electoral Roll' option on NVSP website by entering your EPIC number or name, date of birth, father's name, and state.
