Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a sponsored research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates holding a B.E/B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines, with a valid GATE score.

Overview

The position is purely temporary and will be filled for the duration of the project (1 year and 3 months, until March 2027). The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and may also have the opportunity to pursue a PhD at IIT Roorkee.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. A valid GATE score is mandatory.

Salary

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument of ₹37,000 per month.

Selection Process
