Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has released the notification for Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2020. This exam is conducted to qualify candidates for teaching positions in primary schools across Madhya Pradesh.

Application Fee
- General/Other State: Rs. 600 + Rs. 60 portal charge
- SC/ST/OBC: Rs. 300 + Rs. 60 portal charge
- Correction Fee: Rs. 70
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
- Bachelor's degree with 50% marks and B.Ed.
- 10+2 with 45% marks and four-year B.El.D.
- 10+2 with 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Special Education
Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (Relaxation as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
Selection Process

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or a Bachelor's degree with 50% marks and B.Ed., or equivalent as per NCTE norms.
The age limit is 21-40 years for General category. Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (up to 45 years) and OBC (up to 43 years) as per government norms.
The fee is Rs. 600 for General/Other State candidates, Rs. 300 for Reserved categories, plus a portal charge of Rs. 60.
The exam is scheduled for 25 April 2020.
Apply online through the MPPEB official website from 6 January to 4 February 2020. Correction window is open from 9 February 2020.
