The National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Principal Project Associate. The laboratory, located in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking qualified candidates for two vacancies on a project basis. The appointment will be temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics, or Life Sciences from a recognized university. In addition, a minimum of six years of research experience is required. The upper age limit is 40 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation will be provided as per CSIR norms.

Salary and Benefits

The selected Principal Project Associate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 49,000. The position does not include HRA or other allowances unless specified in the project terms.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on screening of applications followed by an online interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The interview will be conducted via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The final selection will be based on the interview performance and verification of documents.
