National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ISRO-RESPOND project. This is a temporary position initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Important Dates
The application process is open now. The last date to submit the application is 14 January 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview scheduled on 23 January 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:Candidates must have B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a valid GATE score. Alternatively, candidates with B.Sc/M.Sc and CSIR-NET/JRF, JAM, or GATE are also eligible. The degree must be from a recognized university.
Age Limit:Maximum 35 years (relaxation as per government rules).
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month. No other allowances are applicable.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an online interview. The institute may relax qualifications for exceptionally deserving candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
