The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is seeking a motivated Software Developer for a Junior Research Scholarship position. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with strong programming skills in Python and an interest in machine learning and scientific computing.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on building data pipelines, developing scalable Transformer-based models, and implementing AI/ML solutions. The role involves collaboration with researchers and contributing to ongoing projects at TIFR.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python (experience with C++/CUDA is a plus).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in scientific computing libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.
• Knowledge of Transformer-based models and generic ML concepts.
• Experience building data pipelines, APIs, or distributed workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
