University of Hyderabad (UOHYD), a central university of national importance, has announced recruitment for the post of Guest Faculty in the Department of Anthropology. This opportunity is open for candidates with an M.Sc. degree and NET qualification as per UGC norms. A total of 3 positions are available.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Anthropology or a closely related discipline and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC. Freshers are eligible to apply. No prior teaching experience is mandatory, though it will be considered during selection.

Salary and Tenure

The selected candidates will receive a consolidated honorarium of approximately Rs. 50,000 per month. The assignment is for a fixed term as per university requirements, typically for one semester.

The application should include an updated CV and scanned copies of all relevant certificates (educational, NET, publications, teaching experience, community category). The deadline for email submission is 14th December 2025. Hard copies are not required.

Selection Procedure

Applications will be scrutinized, and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview is scheduled for 16th December 2025 at 10:00 AM and may be conducted offline or via Google Meet. In-station candidates are expected to attend in person. No travel allowance will be provided. The university reserves the right to cancel the interview process without prior notice.
