The age limit is 18-35 years for General/EWS, 18-38 years for OBC, and 18-40 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is as per government rules.
The selection process includes Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written exam, sports trial, document verification, and medical examination.
There may be a correction window provided by the board. If not, changes are generally not allowed after final submission. It is advisable to fill the form carefully.
The salary scale is approximately Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100 per month (as per 7th Pay Commission) plus allowances.
As per previous notifications, SC/ST candidates of Uttar Pradesh are exempted from application fee. Others may have to pay a nominal fee as specified in the notification.
