The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Pharmacist on a contractual basis. The vacancy is located at the Station HQ, Yol in Himachal Pradesh. Only one position is available and the monthly salary is fixed at Rs. 36,500.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution. In addition, a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field is required. The age of the applicant should be between 56 and 58 years as of the last date of application.

Application Process

Interested candidates need to download the application form in the prescribed format from the official ECHS website (www.echs.gov.in) under the 'Employment Opportunities' section. The form must be filled in triplicate and submitted along with self-attested copies of all qualification and experience certificates to the Officer-in-Charge, Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Yol. The last date for receipt of applications is 04 December 2025.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates based on their qualifications and experience will be called for an interview. The interview is scheduled for 12 December 2025 at 0930 hours at Station HQ, Yol. Candidates must bring all original certificates, proof of experience, medical and character certificates, discharge book, PPO, service record, and two passport-size photographs. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Important Notes

Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen, widows of service personnel, and Veer Naris. Selected candidates for key posts (Medical Officer, Radiologist, Gynecologist) must complete 10 days of unpaid On-Job Training (OJT) at the Polyclinic and obtain an OJT certificate before joining.
