Eligibility Criteria
Primary Level (Class 1-5)
Candidates must have 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.), OR 10+2 with at least 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms), OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and be appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible.
Junior Level (Class 6-8)
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and must have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.), OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms) are also eligible. Alternatively, candidates with 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed., or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program, or a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), or a Master’s degree with 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course are eligible.
