The University of Hyderabad (UOHYD) has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under a research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates holding a Master's degree in relevant life science disciplines to contribute to cutting-edge research at one of India's premier central universities.
Post Details
The recruitment is for one post of Junior Research Fellow/SRF. The selected candidate will work in the School of Life Sciences on a project related to plant genetics and pathology. The tenure is initially for one year but may be extended based on performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:Candidates must have an M.Sc in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Protection, or an equivalent field. Preference will be given to those with prior research experience and publications.
Age Limit:Not specified in the notification. However, as per standard CSIR/UGC norms for JRF, the upper age limit is usually 28 years (relaxable for reserved categories).
Salary
The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 37,000 as per DST/CSIR guidelines.
