- 1.) Preliminary Examination: Objective type, 150 questions, 300 marks, duration 2 hours. Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for General, 30% for OBC, 25% for SC/ST/PwBD.
- 2.) Main Examination: Descriptive type, 300 marks, covering town planning subjects. Final merit based on Main Exam marks.
