Agniveer is a scheme to recruit youth (aged 17.5-21) into the Indian Armed Forces for a four-year period.
Minimum 17.5 years and maximum 21 years (born between 27/06/2002 to 27/12/2005).
Starting monthly package is Rs 30,000 with annual increments; after 4 years, a Seva Nidhi package of Rs 11.71 lakh is provided.
