Kamdhenu University (KU), a state agriculture university in Gujarat, is conducting a walk-in interview to recruit a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a funded research scheme. There are 2 vacancies available for this contractual position. Eligible candidates with an MVSC degree can attend the interview directly without an online application.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:Master of Veterinary Science (MVSC) or equivalent from a recognized university. Preference may be given to candidates with research experience in relevant fields.

Age Limit:The maximum age is 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Age relaxation is not specified for reserved categories, but candidates should bring relevant certificates if claiming any concession.

Salary and Tenure

The selected SRF will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 42,000. The appointment will be purely contractual and will end automatically upon completion of the research project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview:Candidates must appear with original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies. The interview will assess subject knowledge and research aptitude.
• Written Test (if needed):In case a large number of candidates turn up, a written examination may be held first to shortlist candidates for the interview.
