CoWin Portal Online Registration 2022

The Government of India has opened the CoWin portal for online registration of COVID-19 vaccination for all citizens aged 12 years and above. This includes the newly added 12-14 years age group from 16 March 2022. The vaccination is free at government hospitals and available at a nominal fee at private hospitals.

Important Dates

• Application Begin (General): 01 March 2021
• 18+ Age Group: 01 May 2021
• 15+ Age Group: 03 January 2022
• 12+ Age Group: 16 March 2022

How to Register

1. Visit the CoWin portal or Aarogya Setu app.
2. Register with your mobile number and verify via OTP.
3. Enter your photo ID details (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.), name, date of birth, and gender.
4. Choose your nearest state, district, block, and vaccination center.
5. Book an appointment slot and visit the center on the scheduled date.

Eligibility

All Indian citizens aged 12 years and above are eligible. No prior medical condition is required.

Fees

Vaccination is free at all government hospitals. Private hospitals charge Rs. 250 per dose.

Registration Limit

Up to 4 people can be registered using one mobile number.

Certificate

After vaccination, you can download your certificate from CoWin, DigiLocker, or Aarogya Setu.
