The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, commonly known as IIT BHU, has invited applications for the position of Research Associate in the field of Urban Planning. This is a temporary contractual position initially offered to fresh postgraduates. The selected candidate will work on a research project related to urban and rural planning.

Important Details

The appointment is purely on a temporary basis and the candidate will be stationed in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The monthly salary is fixed at Rs. 45,000 per month. The total number of vacancies is 2.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in M.Arch, M.Tech (Architecture), Master of Planning (M.Plan) or equivalent from a recognized university. Specialization areas include urban planning, rural planning, and regional planning. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
