The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has announced a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position under the ANRF project. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have qualified in GATE or CSIR-UGC NET and possess a Master's degree in a relevant field. The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 44,000 and the appointment is for a duration of 8 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Master's degree (M.A., M.Sc., M.Phil, or M.Ed) in a related discipline from a recognized university. In addition, they must have qualified in either the GATE examination or the CSIR-UGC NET. The specialization required is Physics or a closely related field.
Fellowship Details
The selected JRF will work on a research project at IIT Guwahati. The position is temporary for 8 months but may be extended based on project requirements and performance. The monthly fellowship amount is fixed at Rs. 44,000.
