The minimum age is 23 years and maximum is 30 years for General/EWS candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: SC/ST up to 35 years, OBC up to 33 years.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry or equivalent from a recognized university, and must be registered with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.
SC/ST and all category female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. General/OBC/EWS candidates need to pay Rs. 400.
The selection process includes Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
For male candidates: Height 157 cm, Chest 77-82 cm, 100m run in 16 seconds, 800m run in 3 min 45 sec, Long Jump 3.5m, Shot Put 4.5m. For female candidates: Height 142 cm, 100m run in 18 seconds, 800m run in 4 min 45 sec, Long Jump 3m.
