Indian Air Force (Bhartiya Vayu Sena) has released the Answer Key on its official website for the Recruitment of Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Airmen trade (Intake 01/2027) Examination 2026. The exam was conducted on 30 – 31 March 2026, and the last date to submit the application form was 01 February 2026. Age Limits (as per Indian Airforce Rules)
Medical Assistant trade (10+2): An unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Medical Assistant trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy): An unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2008. A married candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2006.

Eligibility Criteria
Medical Assistant Trade: Candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English; or completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) with same marks.
Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy): Candidates must also possess a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks and valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Medical Standard / PFT
- Physical Fitness Test: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes (for up to 21 years) or 7 minutes 30 seconds (for above 21 years with Diploma/B.Sc)
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cms
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Visual Standards: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9; Max Refractive Error +3.50D
- Hearing: Normal hearing
