Benefits under Agnipath Scheme
Agniveers get a monthly package starting from Rs. 30,000 in the first year, increasing to Rs. 40,000 in the fourth year. They also get a Seva Nidhi package of Rs. 11.71 lakh after completion of 4 years. Life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakh is provided.

For Science stream: 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English with at least 50% marks. For non-Science: 10+2 with 50% marks. English must have 50% marks in both cases. A 3-year engineering diploma is also eligible for Science stream.
