Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:Candidates must possess a Master of Arts (MA) degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. Specialization in Anthropology, Economics, or Statistics is preferred.
Age Limit:The age of candidates should be between 35 and 45 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Screening Examination:Objective type with negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks: 35% for SC/ST and 40% for other categories.
- Interview:Candidates who qualify the screening exam will be called for an interview. The final merit list will be prepared by combining 75% weightage of screening exam marks and 25% weightage of interview marks.
Application Process
Interested candidates must first complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official OTR portal at otr.pariksha.nic.in. After obtaining the OTR number, they can proceed to apply online on the UPPSC website (uppsc.up.nic.in).
