Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER Thiruvananthapuram) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a sponsored research project. The position is temporary and will be co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. They must have qualified one of the following national eligibility tests: CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship) or GATE. Those selected through other national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments are also eligible.

Stipend and Tenure

The selected fellow will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 42,000. The appointment is purely temporary and will end automatically upon the conclusion of the research project. The initial appointment is for a period as per the project requirement, extendable based on performance.
