Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board. Punjabi as a subject in Class 10th is mandatory.
Age Limit:18 to 28 years as on 01/01/2024. Age relaxation as per rules.
Physical Standards:
- Height: Male 5'7", Female 5'2"
- Running: Male – 1600m in 6 min 30 sec; Female – 800m in 4 min 30 sec
- Long Jump: Male – 3.80m; Female – 3m
- High Jump: Male – 1.10m; Female – 0.95m

Male candidates must run 1600m in 6 minutes 30 seconds, long jump 3.80m, and high jump 1.10m. Female candidates run 800m in 4 minutes 30 seconds, long jump 3m, and high jump 0.95m.
Minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 28 years as of 01/01/2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
SC/ST candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 650.
There are a total of 1746 vacancies – 970 in District Police and 776 in Armed Police.
