Overview

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune) has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a research project. There are 2 vacant positions. Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree in relevant engineering streams and a valid national level test scorecard (CSIR-NET, GATE, DBT-JRF etc.) are eligible to apply. The appointment is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.E or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or a closely related discipline. Additionally, they must have a valid scorecard from CSIR-NET / GATE / DBT-JRF or any other National Level Test conducted by a Central Government Department.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the post is 28 years. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per government norms.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 37,000/- as per the project guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an interview. Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and possess a valid national level test scorecard will be called for the interview. The date and mode of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates via email.
