Join Indian Navy has released the detailed notification for Short Service Commissions (SSC) Officers in Executive, Education and Technical branches for January 2027 Course (ST 27). Online applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates. The application process starts on 24 January 2026 and ends on 24 February 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 260 vacancies.

Executive Branch
- General Service GS(X):76 posts (Men & Women). Qualification: BE/B.Tech in any stream with 60% marks. Age: 02/01/2002 to 01/07/2007.
- Air Traffic Control ATC:18 posts (Men & Women). Qualification: Same as above with aggregate 60% in X and XII and 60% in English. Age: 02/01/2002 to 01/01/2006.
- Naval Air Operations Officer NAOO:20 posts (Men & Women). Same qualification as ATC. Age: 02/01/2003 to 01/01/2008.
- Pilot:25 posts (Men & Women). Same qualification as ATC. Age: 02/01/2003 to 01/01/2008.
- Logistics:10 posts (Men & Women). Qualification: BE/B.Tech (60%) or MBA (First Class) or MCA/M.Sc IT First Class or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc IT First Class with PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain/Material Management. Age: 02/01/2002 to 01/06/2007.
Education Branch
15 posts (Men & Women). Qualification: M.Sc with 60% (Maths/Operational Research with Physics in B.Sc, or Physics/Applied Physics with Maths, or Chemistry with Physics). Age: 02/01/2002 to 01/01/2006.
Technical Branch
- General Service GS Engineering:42 posts (Men & Women). BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, etc. with 60%. Age: 02/01/2002 to 01/07/2007.
- General Service GS Electrical:38 posts (Men & Women). BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, etc. with 60%. Age: same as above.
- Submarine Tech Engineering:8 posts (Men only). BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines. Age: same.
- Submarine Tech Electrical:8 posts (Men only). BE/B.Tech in relevant disciplines. Age: same.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of applications based on eligibility and preferences.
- SSB Interview (5 days): includes Screening test, Psychological testing, Group tasks, and Personal Interview.
- Medical Examination as per Navy standards.
- Final merit list based on SSB scores and medical fitness.
