Prasar Bharati, the public service broadcaster of India, has invited applications for the engagement of News Reader cum Translator on a purely casual basis. This recruitment drive aims to fill one vacancy for candidates based in Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Master of Arts (MA) degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, candidates with five years of experience in print and electronic media are also eligible. The age limit is between 21 and 50 years.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an application processing fee of Rs. 354. The fee must be deposited as per the instructions in the official notification.

Selection Process

The selection will be carried out in two stages: a written test followed by an interview. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for the interview.
