Science Subjects:10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, English (50% aggregate and 50% in English) or 3-year Diploma in Engineering (50%) or 2-year Vocational course with Physics & Math (50%).
Other Subjects:10+2 with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
Physical Standards
Height: Minimum 152.5 cms, Chest Expansion: 5 cms.
Benefits of Agniveer Scheme
Agniveers serve for 4 years with monthly package increasing from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 (in-hand Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 28,000). They get life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs, 30 days annual leave, and skill certificate. After 4 years, they receive Rs. 11.71 lakh Seva Nidhi package, and up to 25% are enrolled in regular cadre.
